Modified on: Wed, Nov 20 2024 10:18 AM

Logging into systems can cause issues if a username/password are saved in your browser.  We recommend if you are having issues logging in to open a private browser window or incognito window.

Google Chrome:

  • Open Google Chrome.
  • Select the three dot icon in the upper-right corner.
  • Select New Incognito window from the drop-down menu.
  • A new window opens, usually darker colored than normal, showing Incognito at the top right.
  • You will need to type in your username and password.

Safari

  • Open Safari
  • Select File from the top menu bar
  • Choose New Private Window. You can also input the keyboard shortcut Shift + Command + N
  • Safari will open a new Private Browsing window
  • You will need to type in your username and password

You can open Incognito/Private windows in both Chrome and Safari on your phone as well.
