SARS Error Message: "No Student Found"

When opening Student History or Notepad inside of SARS and typing in a student ID number, you receive the message on screen:  No Student Found.


This happens when the student does not have any history yet because they have never been entered into an appointment or made one online via eSARS.  

Until they are opened up in an "appointment" screen window, they technically don't exist yet in the SARS system.  

You don't have to actually schedule the appointment, you just need to pull them up into the appointment screen for it to initialize their SARS account.


Below I opened an appointment screen on any open slot, remember it doesn't matter because you will not be saving/committing this appointment.  

Enter the student ID number and it will populate the student information.  This record has a lot of info redacted for security reasons.

Once it opens, click CLOSE and discard the appointment.


You will now be able to open Student History and Notepad on the student and review and/or add information as you need to.
