How to access the Pro version of Zoom for a SC employee
You can access Zoom via our Portal at my.shastacollege.edu - click on the Shasta Zoom icon. The system will send you an email to confirm your account, you must confirm it to begin using Zoom at Shasta College. If you do not see the email in your inbox, check your Junk folder. Also, very important - if you have a zoom.us account already and it is using your SC email account, it will never send you the email. Zoom does not allow you to use your email address for two accounts. You must go into you zoom.us account and change your email to your personal email address. Then you will need to request to confirm your email again via our Shasta Zoom tile under the Portal.

How do I get my Zoom profile picture to show in meetings?
In order for your profile picture to be showing in Zoom you must log into the application and enter the meeting the "meetings" tab, or have added the Outlook add-on plugin and click on the link in your Outlook calendar. To log into Zoom for Shasta College (AKA Shasta Zoom), please log into our Portal at: https://pg1.shastacollege.edu and click on the ShastaZoom tile. Alternatively you can go to https://shastacollege-edu.zoom.us Download the Outlook Zoom Plug-In to add to your office installation of Outlook. * **If you are on a district device (computer, laptop), please contact the IT department to install this for you.

Zoom is Unable to Connect
Zoom is giving me the following error message "It looks like we are unable to connect. Please check your network connection and try again." To resolve this issue open Zoom and click the SSO option. Make sure it reads "shastacollege-edu". Click continue. After that, you should be able to open Zoom without issue.
