Campus Logic 40004 Error Message
When students receive a 40004 error from Campus Logic it typically means one of two things, their account is not fully set-up/verified yet OR they are logging in with the incorrect account (for staff/student workers).
The Financial Aid office has specialists and analysts who should ensure that the students account is actually setup and verified in the system before submitting a help ticket to IT.
All active students who also work for the college, should be logging into Campus Logic with their student account under the Portal. The students email address and account is always still there. Student workers should only be using their staff log in to do staff related work and use their student account to do all their student related work. Campus Logic is tied to the student account since that is related to student financial aid items. We recommend that they log in to their student account in the Portal using an incognito window so that it doesn't assume their staff login authentication.
Students should also remember that Campus Logic accounts may have been initially set up with communications to their Non-SC student email account, so their personal email account such as a Gmail or Yahoo email address since Student Email accounts were only provided to students from Summer 2023 forward.
